Soil:

1.80 ha of chalky land on the Limestone plateau South, southeast exposure

Making of:
  • Grape variety: 100 % malbec
  • hand -made Leaf thinned out
  • Maximum yield: 25 to 300 hl per hectare
Vinification:
  • Traditional long vatting with thermoregulation (28 to 35 days) yeast free
  • Aged in vat for at least 18 to 24 months to be aged up to 15 years
Tasting commentary:

Sight: dark purple, brilliant
Nose: powerful, violet and then fenel
Mouth: oily, steady and powerful tannins and red fruits, long

To be served with game or cheese courses after decanting.
